I’m only laughing because the exact same type of thing happened a couple of weeks ago when I took my daughter to a Daisy Day Camp Day. Older scouts were “running” it to earn PCA points and it was incredibly disorganized and poorly planned. One of our leaders said something to one of the girls and she made the “mean lady” comment and told her to talk to an adult.

Well, we won’t go into THAT discussion, but you have to love the mean lady comments.

Seriously, where were the other adults. I hate the complete dark too, I probably would have started screaming too. Or, at least taken Daisy’s suggestion and gone for a nice cold beer.

As my grandmother would say – “consider the source”. She is really just a kid herself, right?

Some adult needs to be slapped hard for not having enough foresight to see that that was a bad idea. There are LOTS of kids who just do NOT like complete darkness. Not for nothing – I hate it myself. But I hardly ever scream.

Anywho – this too shall pass, right? Go have a Yeungling.
